Traditional Chai originated in India and is a “steeped” tea to which various spices and honey are added. There are basically 2 types of chai, traditional and ours.
Caffe D’Amore’s Chai Amore Tea Latte is an “Americanized” version of it’s Far East cousin. We add a blend of rich creamers and honey and an exotic blend of spices, such as cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, to fine black and green teas, creating what we like to call “Aromatherapy for the Taste buds”. It is basically a more mellow, smoother taste that can be enjoyed by all, not just the traditionalist.
